Welcome back and happy 2024! CVC is excited to share a few new releases:
Preferred First Name: To foster a more inclusive student experience, the Abbreviated Enrollment Record (AER) form will support a Preferred First Name field. For current Teaching Colleges, our team will be reaching out to your Admissions & Records teams for information on which field to map this value to in your SIS. Please note: the Preferred First Name field will be available in the student experience in the coming weeks, but may not be written to the SIS until mapping is complete. This feature will be rolled out in the coming months as the CVC team retrofits each district’s builds.
Default Tuition Policy: The Self-Service Portal now supports a default tuition policy to be set for the academic year. For upcoming changes to your non-resident tuition policy rate, please enter the amount per unit (enrollment fee + tuition + capital outlay (where applicable)) to the effective term. This value will then rollover and become the default amount in the upcoming academic year.
