During the summer of 2018, the California Legislature shifted the focus of the California Virtual Campus (CVC) from a catalog of approved online courses to a website featuring online class sections and degree programs currently being offered.
The previous CVC contained out-of-date information. Additionally, there was no guarantee that classes displayed were currently offered online. The new CVC contains up-to-date and verified information and displays only those courses currently offered online.
At this time, only transferable courses that fulfill IGETC or CSU GE Breadth requirements are searchable. More features and functionality will be added over time.
