The CVC offers a variety of events throughout the year which can be found on our calendar below. If you missed an event, many past events are available on-demand on our YouTube channel. Both self-paced and facilitated courses may be found in our course catalog.

Grow Your Student Tutoring Newtwork with STAR-CA

Learning assistance professionals and peer tutors are invited to learn how they can join the STAR-CA for free! STAR-CA is an independent consortium of participating California Community Colleges (CCC) where members share online tutoring availability via the Pisces platform, generously funded by CVC through the CCC Chancellor’s Office. STAR-CA offers live, drop-in tutoring. Students can connect with a live tutor and get private, one-on-one tutoring in real time. Join your peers and your trusted online tutoring provider, Link System International, to learn more on Wednesday, January 31 from 1 pm – 2 pm. To register for the webinar, please RSVP via Zoom.
