You are invited to a webinar hosted by the California Virtual Campus - Online Education Initiative (CVC-OEI) focused on the functionality and benefits associated with the online course exchange, with a specific emphasis on articulation officers and departments.
In preparation, and to help ensure our discussions are as relevant as possible, we ask for your participation in a quick 2-question survey (by 5/10). Additionally, we invite you to familiarize yourself with the following resource: Frequently Asked Questions for Student Services Professionals.
We look forward to seeing you on the 13th!
This webinar will introduce the enhancements TechConnect has made to their appointment booking product to allow students to connect virtually with tutors, counselors, health care professionals, financial aid, and other student services that are needed outside the classroom. This improved product will be called "Student Connect".
Please use this registration link to participate.
The CVC Exchange is an innovative tool that allows students currently enrolled in a California Community College to instantly enroll in online courses offered at eligible colleges without filling out a separate application. Student services personnel are key to the success of the project, which reduces students' time to completion. Join both the CVC and Cal CSSO to learn more about the CVC Exchange and its impact on student services.

Campus tutors are invited to discuss techniques and strategies with their NetTutor peers--bring their questions and curiosity to this unscripted session.
For example:
"I'm used to tutoring in person. When we're online, how will I know when the student I'm helping is confused?"
"Will you show me how to do XYZ in Pisces?"
"When I'm in the tutoring lab, students can see we're busy. How do I tell a student I've been helping online for a while that I need to help the next student in line?"
