NetTutor Jam Sessions provide a venue for tutors to discuss techniques and strategies with their peers

Campus tutors are invited to interact directly with their NetTutor peers--bring their questions and curiosity to this unscripted session. For example:

I'm used to tutoring in person. When we're online, how will I know when the student I'm helping is confused?
Will you show me how to do ___ in Pisces?
When I'm in the tutoring lab, students can see we're busy. How do I tell a student I've been helping online for a while that I need to help the next student in line?

Register Here: Wednesday, September 9, 11:30 am Pacific / 2:30 pm Eastern

This webinar will focus on the Pisces features that are of particular interest to a coordinator or manager whose department or center is using Pisces for collaboration. In particular, we will look at using our stats tool to pull on-demand usage statistics, managing user roles and messaging inside of Pisces, and managing drop-in and scheduled meetings. The webinar will be followed by an open Q&A, and attendees are encouraged to bring any questions they might have.
