The goal of the Online Library Services project is to develop system-wide standards for online library resources and services to address the needs of students enrolled in online courses while also identifying opportunities to coordinate pooled library services and resources across CCCs.
In collaboration with the CCC Council of Chief Librarians and representatives from the ASCCC, an OEI Steering Committee work group developed guidelines and effective practices for California Community Colleges to integrate library resources into the Canvas CCMS.
The following document includes implementation actions that librarians can take, as well as give to college IT, Distance Education, and discipline faculty to further library academic support integration into online instruction.
