Events Calendar
The CVC offers a variety of events throughout the year which can be found on our calendar below. If you missed an event, many past events are available on-demand on our YouTube channel. Both self-paced and facilitated courses may be found in our course catalog.
Additional systemwide technology events are hosted by the California Community College’s Technology Center and may be accessed on their events calendar.

NetTutor Jam Sessions provide a venue for tutors to discuss techniques and strategies with their peers

Campus tutors are invited to interact directly with their NetTutor peers–bring their questions and curiosity to this unscripted session. For example:
- I’m used to tutoring in person. When we’re online, how will I know when the student I’m helping is confused?
- Will you show me how to do ___ in Pisces?
- When I’m in the tutoring lab, students can see we’re busy. How do I tell a student I’ve been helping online for a while that I need to help the next student in line?
