How does it work?
Students who earn an ADT can transfer to a guaranteed spot at a participating university when they meet certain eligibility requirements, which vary between campuses. With this special degree, you may be given an admission advantage when applying to certain campuses or majors, which also helps you to transfer.

In addition, once you’ve transferred, you will in most cases only require 60-semester units (or 90 quarter units) of coursework to complete your bachelor’s degree. A counselor will help you determine which four-year university offers bachelor’s degrees that correspond to your Associate Degree for Transfer. It is still important for you to apply to the schools that interest you and follow admission deadlines to be considered.

Can I earn an ADT online?
Yes! Several California community colleges offer ADT degrees completely online. You can choose which program interests you, and thanks to our wide array of support services, aren’t limited by distance to the college.

How do I enroll?
Once you have decided which program meets your needs, visit their admissions office for application procedures. You can also check to see which classes are currently offered by visiting the CVC course finder, which provides up-to-date course listings.

* The opportunities listed above do not represent all fully online ADT programs available in California’s community college system.  Contact your college to determine if it offers additional programs that you can earn entirely online.
