The CVC is sponsored by the Foothill-De Anza Community College District as the recipient of a grant from the California Community College Chancellor's Office (CCCCO). Composed of high-quality online courses, resources for students, and technology, the CVC represents a comprehensive and collaborative program that leverages effective practices and technology to significantly increase the opportunity for higher education degree attainment in California.

 California Community Colleges may take advantage of the following resources offered through the CVC:

• Participation in the CVC Exchange, as Home and Teaching Colleges. 
• Access to data and enrollment dashboards through the Exchange. 
• Resources such as the Online Course Design Rubric, CVC@ONE online educator certification, adoptable courses, webinars, and other professional development opportunities.
• Shared technology such as Canvas, the state's common course management system, and other tools including Canvas Studio, Impact, NetTutor, and Pisces.

Enrolling in an online course at a separate California Community College without filling out a separate CCCApply application.
